On the occasion of Tulsi Jayanti week, the Modern Educational Group organized a musical recitation of Shri Ramcharitmanas at the Modern English School, Kuntinagar campus in Nawada. On Sunday, more than 5000 students from various institutions under the group collectively recited sections from Balkand, including Sita Swayamvar, Dhanush Yagya, and the dialogue between Shri Ram, Lakshman, and Parashuram. The recitation lasted for about three hours, creating a devotional atmosphere throughout the campus.

The chief guest for the event was actor Arun Govil, who portrayed Lord Rama in Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan' television series and is currently an MP from Meerut. Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha was present as a special guest. The arrival of Arun Govil generated immense enthusiasm among students and parents. The school premises were grandly decorated with saffron flags and cultural embellishments. Guests were welcomed with bouquets, flower showers, aarti, and mangalachar.

Thousands of students participating in the Ramcharitmanas recitation were dressed in saffron attire with sandalwood tilak, showcasing uniformity and discipline. The program was inaugurated by Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Arun Govil, Dr. Anuj Kumar (President of Modern Educational Group), Ashok Kumar (District President of Nawada Primary Teachers' Association), and Dr. Shailesh Kumar (General Secretary of Bihar Teachers Training Organization) by lighting the auspicious lamp. Hindi teachers Manish Kumar Pandey and Umesh Pandey presented mangalacharan and Shri Ram Stuti, followed by the blowing of conch shells. Guests also offered garlands to the portraits of Lord Rama and Goswami Tulsidas.

Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha praised the event as not just a religious gathering but a commendable effort to instill Indian culture, civilization, and moral values in students. He emphasized that in this materialistic era, the collective recitation of Ramcharitmanas by over 5000 students is highly admirable, and this message from Nawada should reach the entire country and the world. Dr. Anuj Kumar, President and Director of Modern Educational Group, described Ramcharitmanas as a heritage of Indian civilization, culture, ethics, and life values, stating that such events connect children to their roots, enhance discipline, foster positive thinking, and develop human sensitivities. Dr. Shailesh Kumar, the group's secretary, highlighted how Ramcharitmanas strengthens feelings of love, values, sacrifice, and मर्यादा (dignity/propriety) within families. The event commenced around 11 AM.
