The Nawada city administration is on high alert following the announcement of a 'mahapanchayat'. Heavy police forces have been deployed across the city to maintain law and order. Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita has been imposed, prohibiting the gathering of more than five people, unauthorized processions or demonstrations, carrying sticks or weapons, and the use of loudspeakers. Strict legal action will be taken against those who violate these orders.

Under the orders of senior officials, police from all stations, Rapid Action Force, women police, and traffic police have been on duty since morning. The SP and DM personally inspected the arrangements on the streets and issued necessary instructions to the personnel. The district administration has deployed substantial police forces at the bus stand and all major intersections. Barricades have been set up on all four main entry points to the city, and every vehicle is being searched. Drone cameras and CCTV are being used to monitor the entire area.

The city's route map was suddenly changed for security reasons. One-way traffic and diversions on several main roads caused significant inconvenience to office-goers and daily wage earners. Changes in auto and e-rickshaw routes forced people to travel longer distances. Misinformation spreading on social media also created confusion among the public. The police have appealed to people not to pay attention to unverified news. Markets have also been affected by the situation; shops are open, but there is a noticeable lack of customers.
