A shocking incident has come to light in Nawada district, where a couple was found dead in a locked room within the Nagar Police Station area. The discovery was made on Wednesday morning when local residents alerted the police. The deceased have been identified as Santosh Kumar (35) and his wife Anuradha Devi (32).

Upon receiving the information, police promptly arrived at the scene, broke open the locked door, and recovered the bodies. Anuradha Devi's family members, who reached the spot, have leveled serious allegations. Her brother claimed that his sister and brother-in-law were poisoned to death, alleging that Santosh Kumar's family had been harassing them. The in-laws' side insists it was not a suicide but a premeditated murder and has demanded an impartial investigation from the police.

Police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them to Nawada Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. The Nagar Police Station in-charge stated that the case appears suspicious at first glance. Some objectionable items were also found in the room and are being investigated. Police added that the exact cause of death would only be revealed after the post-mortem report is available. Interrogations with Santosh's family members have also begun.
