घटना के संबंध में मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, कैलाश यादव अपने खेत में काम कर रहे थे। उसी दौरान वे अनजाने में 11 हजार वोल्ट की बिजली की तार की अर्थिंग से संपर्क में आ गए। करंट का झटका इतना जोरदार था कि उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत उन्हें अस्पताल ले जाने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी।
इस घटना की सूचना मिलते ही गोविंदपुर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए नवादा सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया। पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है। स्थानीय लोगों में इस बात को लेकर आक्रोश है कि बिजली विभाग की लापरवाही के कारण यह हादसा हुआ है। उनका कहना है कि 11 हजार वोल्ट की तार की अर्थिंग को सही तरीके से सुरक्षित नहीं किया गया था, जिसके कारण कैलाश यादव उसकी चपेट में आ गए।
कैलाश यादव के निधन से उनके परिवार के सामने भरण-पोषण का गंभीर संकट खड़ा हो गया है। उनकी पत्नी और छह बच्चों का भविष्य अब अधर में लटक गया है। स्थानीय प्रशासन और बिजली विभाग से परिजनों को उचित मुआवजा और सहायता देने की मांग की जा रही है ताकि इस मुश्किल घड़ी में उन्हें कुछ सहारा मिल सके।
