A significant health awareness camp was organized in Nawada district with the aim of extending healthcare services to the masses and spreading awareness about diseases. During this camp, a total of 250 villagers underwent screening for Tuberculosis (TB). In the course of the examinations, 15 individuals were found to have suspected symptoms of TB, including two pregnant women. This information was provided by officials from the District Health Department.

The primary objective of the camp was to identify serious diseases like TB in rural areas and ensure timely treatment. Health workers provided detailed information to the villagers about the symptoms of TB, preventive measures, and available government treatment schemes. They also explained that TB is completely curable and can be eradicated with regular medication.

The 15 individuals found to be suspects, including the pregnant women, have been referred to the district hospital for further investigation and confirmation. The health department has assured that all of them will receive free treatment on a priority basis. The department is particularly vigilant about the suspected cases of TB in pregnant women, as it can pose a serious threat to their health and that of their unborn child. They will be provided with special medical consultation and care.

Such camps play a crucial role in increasing access to health services in rural areas and making people aware of diseases.
