A 60-year-old man, Sadhu Chauhan, died in Milki Beldari village, Sitamarhi police station area, under Meskaur block in Nawada district, following a violent altercation over a land dispute. His family has alleged murder, claiming that Ramprasad Chauhan's son Shyama Chauhan, and Shravan Chauhan's sons Vikas Chauhan, Pintoo Chauhan, and Vipin Chauhan attacked Sadhu Chauhan with sticks, spears, and a 'katni', leading to his severe injuries and subsequent death.

According to the deceased's family, a long-standing land dispute between the two parties escalated into a violent confrontation on Friday. Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team led by Sitamarhi Station House Officer Pappu Sharma immediately arrived at the scene and commenced an investigation. The police inspected the site and questioned local residents. Police officials stated that they are thoroughly investigating all facts related to the incident and the root causes of the dispute.

However, the family's allegations of murder have not yet been officially confirmed by the police. The actual cause of Sadhu Chauhan's death and the roles of the accused will become clear only after the police investigation is complete.
