A tragic incident occurred in Nawada district on Raksha Bandhan, where a young man died after being hit by a train. The accident took place near Baghibardeeha railway station within the Warisaliganj police station area. The deceased has been identified as Pappu Singh, son of the late Pradeep Singh, a resident of May village, also under Warisaliganj police station.

According to information, Pappu Singh was on his way to his sister's house to get a Rakhi tied on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. While walking along the railway tracks to reach Baghibardeeha station, he was suddenly hit by a train and died on the spot.

Upon receiving news of the accident, a crowd of local residents gathered at the scene and immediately informed the police. Warisaliganj police arrived at the spot, inspected the site, and initiated an investigation into the matter. The police have taken custody of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital Nawada for post-mortem examination. The news of the accident has plunged the deceased's family into mourning. Warisaliganj Station House Officer Pankaj Kumar Saini visited the scene to gather information and stated that the police are taking further legal action in the case.
