Neelam Kumari has officially taken charge as the new Circle Officer (CO) of Kurhani block in Muzaffarpur district. She assumed office from the outgoing Circle Officer, Pankaj Kumar. On this occasion, Ms. Kumari emphasized that her primary focus would be on the swift and effective resolution of public grievances in the area. She stated that special attention would be given to revenue-related matters, land disputes, and other administrative challenges to ensure that people receive the benefits of government services without any undue delay.

After taking charge, Neelam Kumari inspected various sections of the Kurhani Circle Office and familiarized herself with the staff. She instructed all employees to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication, reiterating that the Circle Office serves the public and that every visitor's concerns should be heard and addressed seriously. Speaking to the media, Ms. Kumari affirmed that transparency and accountability would be integral to her working style. She also mentioned plans to regularly organize public hearings to directly engage with citizens and address their complaints. She appealed for cooperation from the residents of Kurhani, assuring them of improved administrative efficiency and prioritization of public welfare during her tenure. The charge-taking ceremony was attended by several circle office staff and local dignitaries who welcomed the new Circle Officer.
