अमरपुर। अमरपुर थाना क्षेत्र के डुमरिया गांव में बुधवार की अहले सुबह सड़क किनारे एक नवजात शिशु लावारिस हालत में मिला। इस घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में सनसनी फैल गई। ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि देर रात गांव के शिव मंदिर के समीप बने शिवगंगा के ऊपर सड़क किनारे एक बच्चे के रोने की आवाज सुनाई दी। मंदिर पर सोये गांव के ही किरण तांती की नींद खुली और उन्होंने बच्चे को देखा।
किरण तांती बच्चे के पास पहुंचे और उसे उठा लिया। सुबह करीब साढ़े तीन बजे डायल 112 की पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और बच्चे को अपने कब्जे में लिया। पुलिस नवजात को इलाज के लिए रेफरल अस्पताल लेकर आई, जहां उसका स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया गया। डॉक्टरों ने बच्चे को पूरी तरह स्वस्थ बताया। इधर, नवजात लड़के के मिलने की सूचना पर बड़ी संख्या में लोग अस्पताल पहुंचने लगे। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है कि आखिर कौन इस बच्चे को लावारिस छोड़ गया।
