A 24-year-old newlywed man died under suspicious circumstances on Monday at his in-laws' house in Khanpur Patiyasha village, under the Ahiyapur police station area of Muzaffarpur. The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Bharat Prasad, a resident of Meenapur village in the Meenapur police station area. Upon receiving the information, Ahiyapur police promptly arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and sent it to SKMCH for post-mortem.

Pawan Kumar was married last November. After his marriage, he had gone to Delhi for work and had returned just two days prior to the incident. After returning from Delhi, he came to his in-laws' house in Khanpur Patiyasha. The following day, his family was informed of his death, plunging them into grief.

Bharat Prasad, the deceased's father, has leveled serious allegations of murder against the in-laws' family. He claimed that a poisonous substance was allegedly found near his son's body, though these allegations have not yet been confirmed by the police. The father has demanded a fair investigation from the police and strict action against those found guilty.

According to the Ahiyapur police, the body has been sent for post-mortem at SKMCH. Police stated that the actual cause of death would only be known after the post-mortem report is received. The police are investigating all aspects related to the incident and will register an FIR and take further legal action upon receiving an application from the deceased's family. Currently, many questions surround the suspicious death of this newlywed man.
