Under the Women and Child Development Project, a plantation drive was conducted at Anganwadi centers in Nokha block on Wednesday. As part of the 'Hariyalo Rajasthan' campaign, fruit-bearing, shade-giving, and flowering plants were planted at Anganwadi centers located in Ward 10 and 11 of Nokha. CDPO Manju Soni informed that approximately 300 saplings have been planted across various Anganwadi centers in the block under this initiative. All participating workers pledged to regularly care for these plants and nurture them into trees. Women supervisor Kalawati Soni, junior assistant Mal Singh, BC Gayatri Kanwar, and workers from Nokha A sector were also present at the event. Everyone collectively resolved to protect the planted saplings to ensure they grow and benefit the environment.
