In a significant operation dubbed 'Operation Savera', police and collaborating organizations in Kishanganj have successfully rescued five young girls from the clutches of human traffickers. This targeted raid is part of a special ongoing campaign in the district aimed at combating human trafficking.

The rescued girls are currently receiving counseling from the 'Bachpan Bachao' team, an organization specializing in providing aid and rehabilitation to child and youth victims of human trafficking. The counseling aims to provide mental and emotional support, helping the girls recover from their traumatic experience and return to a normal life.

Four young men suspected of involvement in this human trafficking ring have also been detained. Police are interrogating them to uncover other members of the network and dismantle the entire operation. The Superintendent of Police stated that 'Operation Savera' is dedicated to eradicating human trafficking in the district, with continuous raids and awareness campaigns planned. The public has also been urged to report any suspicious activities immediately to the police.
