प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, ट्रांसफार्मर से पहले चिंगारियां निकलनी शुरू हुईं और फिर देखते ही देखते आग की लपटें तेज हो गईं। आग इतनी भीषण थी कि ट्रांसफार्मर पूरी तरह से जलकर खाक हो गया। इस घटना के कारण रानीपुर और आसपास के कई घरों में बिजली गुल हो गई है, जिससे लोगों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। गर्मी के मौसम में बिजली कटौती से ग्रामीणों का जीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है।
बिजली विभाग के कनीय अभियंता (जेई) ने इस घटना की पुष्टि की है। उन्होंने बताया कि ट्रांसफार्मर में आग लगने की सूचना मिली है और विभाग की टीम मौके पर पहुंच गई है। जेई ने आश्वासन दिया कि जले हुए ट्रांसफार्मर की जल्द से जल्द मरम्मत कराई जाएगी या उसे बदला जाएगा, ताकि क्षेत्र में बिजली आपूर्ति को सामान्य किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि विभाग आग लगने के कारणों की भी जांच कर रहा है।
फिलहाल, रानीपुर के निवासियों को बिना बिजली के रहना पड़ रहा है। उम्मीद है कि बिजली विभाग जल्द ही इस समस्या का समाधान करेगा और लोगों को राहत मिलेगी। यह घटना एक बार फिर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बिजली के बुनियादी ढांचे के रखरखाव और सुरक्षा उपायों पर ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता पर जोर देती है।
