Semi-annual evaluation examinations will be held in government and government-aided primary schools across the Parihar block of Sitamarhi district from September 15 to September 20. Thousands of students from classes one to eight are expected to participate in these exams, which are part of the academic session 2026-27.

According to the guidelines issued, students in classes one and two will undergo oral assessments, while those in classes three to eight will take written examinations. The written exams will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Question-cum-answer booklets and other confidential materials for the examination will be distributed to schools via the Block Resource Center (BRC) by September 11 and 12. District Education Officer (DEO) Raghavendra Mani Tripathi issued directives on Sunday to the Parihar Block Education Officer (BEO) and all headmasters, emphasizing strict adherence to departmental guidelines.

BEO Satendra Kumar Jha confirmed that all necessary preparations for the examination are being completed on time. Following the exams, answer sheets will be evaluated from September 21 to September 25. A special parent-teacher meeting is scheduled for September 26, where parents will be informed about their children's academic progress.
