A felicitation ceremony was organized by the regional office of the Bihar Mahila Shikshan-Prashikshan Sah Rojgar Kendra Trust in Parsa, Saran district, on Tuesday. The event, held at Vidhyarthi House, saw sewing machines distributed as Diwali bonuses to women centre operators from both Dariyapur and Parsa blocks.

The program was conducted under the guidance and leadership of Secretary Vishal Kumar alias Raj Kumar Raj. Centre operators who demonstrated excellent performance in their work were specially honoured with garments. Additionally, social workers from Parsa and Dariyapur who have significantly contributed to women's empowerment and social causes were also felicitated.

Several dignitaries attended the event, including former Zila Parishad representative Kamlesh Rai, Vinod Yadav, Santosh Kumar, Amod Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Mukhiya Abhay Kumar (Guddu), Shailendra Rai, and Mukhiya Saroj Rai.

Secretary Vishal Kumar highlighted the organization's objective: to empower women in both rural and urban areas by providing training in tailoring, cutting, weaving, and handicrafts, thereby making them self-reliant and connecting them with employment opportunities. He emphasized that educated, trained, and self-reliant women would contribute to the development of their families, society, and the entire state of Bihar. This initiative marks a significant step towards economically empowering women and integrating them into the mainstream of society.
