गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों में से एक बालिग है, जबकि दूसरा नाबालिग है। पुलिस ने इनके कब्जे से एक देसी कट्टा बरामद किया है, जिसका इस्तेमाल वे लूटपाट के दौरान ट्रक चालकों को डराने-धमकाने के लिए करते थे। पुलिस ने बताया कि यह गिरोह सुनसान इलाकों में ट्रकों को रोककर उनके सामान और नकदी लूट लेता था।
पुलिस अब इस गिरोह के अन्य सदस्यों की तलाश कर रही है और यह जानने की कोशिश कर रही है कि इन घटनाओं के पीछे कोई बड़ा नेटवर्क तो नहीं है। गिरफ्तार किए गए बालिग आरोपी को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है, जबकि नाबालिग को बाल सुधार गृह भेजा गया है। इस कार्रवाई से पटना में ट्रक चालकों और परिवहन व्यवसाय से जुड़े लोगों ने राहत की सांस ली है। पुलिस ने यह भी आश्वासन दिया है कि ऐसे अपराधियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी ताकि क्षेत्र में शांति और व्यवस्था बनी रहे।
