A grand Shri Rudra Mahayagya has commenced in Pindra Khurd. This significant religious event, featuring the prominent recitation of Shatachandi Path, began on July 15 and will continue until July 22. The first day of the Mahayagya, July 15, was marked by a large Kalash Yatra (pot procession) that saw enthusiastic participation from a great number of devotees.

The Kalash Yatra began in the morning from Pindra Khurd village. Women and young girls, adorned in traditional attire, carried sacred water pots on their heads and marched with great pomp and show. The procession traversed the main routes of the village before reaching the designated site, where the Kalash was formally installed amidst Vedic chanting. The entire area was immersed in a devotional atmosphere, resonating with the chants of devotees and religious hymns.

Organizing committee members stated that the primary objective of this Mahayagya is to pray for peace, happiness, and prosperity in the region. Through the Shatachandi Path, Goddess Durga will be worshipped to remove obstacles and invoke positive energy. Special prayers, Havana, and Aarti will be conducted daily in the mornings and evenings. Additionally, programs featuring religious discourses and devotional singing by learned pundits are scheduled, with active participation expected from local residents.

This Mahayagya serves not only as a center of religious faith but also as an opportunity for villagers to come together and foster social harmony. A larger turnout of devotees is anticipated in the coming days.
