A solar service camp was organized on Wednesday at the Chainpur block headquarters in Kaimur district. The primary objective of this camp was to raise awareness about the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme and explain its benefits to the public. Junior Electrical Engineer (JE) Shambhu Kumar presided over the camp, where villagers and electricity consumers were informed about the advantages of installing solar panels on their rooftops.

Officials explained to consumers that installing solar panels under this scheme would lead to significant savings on electricity bills and provide the benefit of free electricity for a long time. Additionally, it would promote the use of solar energy, which is beneficial for the environment.
