Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor has sharply responded to Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari's suggestion that Tejashwi Yadav should enroll in a government school and pass the 10th grade before offering advice to the government. Speaking to the media on Tuesday (August 25, 2026), Kishor sarcastically remarked that if the Education Minister has advised Tejashwi Yadav to pass the 10th grade, then in the next cabinet meeting, he should suggest that Samrat Chaudhary also take the 10th exam alongside Tejashwi Yadav.

Kishor urged, on behalf of the people of Bihar and educated youth, that both leader Samrat Chaudhary and opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav should pass the 10th exam next time. This, he believes, would instill confidence in the people that their leaders can also pass matriculation on their own.

This statement was made by Prashant Kishor during a media interaction after a Jan Suraaj event held at the Community Hall on Daroga Prasad Rai Path, commemorating the 108th birth anniversary of great social reformer and former Chief Minister B.P. Mandal.

During the same interaction, Kishor also commented on the farmers' agitation. He stated that the government's announcement to build satellite cities is a conspiracy to benefit large industrialists and builders, aiming to acquire land from Bihar's middle-class farmers at throwaway prices. Kishor questioned how the government, which struggles to pay salaries, plans to acquire so much land. He emphasized that if land is acquired, farmers and landowners must receive fair compensation. Prashant Kishor has consistently maintained that this law is impractical in Bihar.
