The much-awaited examination for the recruitment of Prohibition Sub-Inspectors in Bihar is scheduled to be held today. This examination will take place at various centers across the state, with thousands of candidates participating. Organized by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC), the exam aims to select eligible candidates for positions within the Prohibition Department.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates have been instructed to arrive at their respective examination centers at least one hour before the scheduled time. It is mandatory to bring the admit card, a valid photo identification (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license), and two passport-sized photographs.

The Commission has made stringent arrangements to ensure a malpractice-free and transparent examination. All examination centers will be under CCTV surveillance, and jammers have also been installed to prevent the use of any electronic devices. Candidates will not be allowed to carry mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets into the examination hall.

This examination is being conducted to fill vacant posts of Sub-Inspectors in the Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department of the Government of Bihar. The selection process for these posts includes a written examination, physical efficiency test, and interview. Today's written examination is the preliminary stage, and successful candidates will be called for further selection processes.
