पूर्णिया में DM ने किया छठ घाटों का निरीक्षण, नदी के बीच भी चलेगा सफाई अभियान

पूर्णिया में छठ पूजा की तैयारियों का जायजा लेने के लिए जिलाधिकारी अंशुल कुमार ने गुरुवार को शहर के विभिन्न छठ घाटों का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को घाटों पर साफ-सफाई, पर्याप्त रोशनी और सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। प्रशासन का उद्देश्य छठव्रतियों और श्रद्धालुओं को पर्व के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार की असुविधा से बचाना है।
निरीक्षण के दौरान, डीएम अंशुल कुमार के साथ नगर आयुक्त अनिरुद्ध पाण्डेय और नगर निगम के अन्य अधिकारी कालीबाड़ी चौक स्थित छठ घाट पहुंचे। यहां उन्होंने तैयारियों की विस्तृत समीक्षा की। जिलाधिकारी ने बताया कि नगर निगम के कर्मचारी न केवल नदी के किनारों पर, बल्कि नदी के बीच में भी एक विशेष सफाई अभियान चला रहे हैं। इस अभियान का मुख्य लक्ष्य नदी के जल को स्वच्छ रखना है, ताकि अर्घ्य देने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को किसी भी प्रकार की परेशानी न हो। इसके अतिरिक्त, घाटों पर समतलीकरण और कीचड़ हटाने का काम भी तेजी से किया जा रहा है।
डीएम ने अधिकारियों को संध्या और सुबह के अर्घ्य के लिए घाटों पर पर्याप्त लाइटिंग की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए और कहा कि सभी आवश्यक कार्य समय रहते पूरे कर लिए जाएं ताकि अंतिम क्षणों में किसी भी प्रकार की अव्यवस्था से बचा जा सके। मीडिया से बातचीत में डीएम अंशुल कुमार ने छठ को बिहार का सबसे बड़ा महापर्व बताया और दिवाली व छठ की अग्रिम शुभकामनाएं दीं। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरा प्रशासन इस बात के लिए प्रयासरत है कि इस वर्ष का छठ सभी के लिए सुखद और यादगार अनुभव हो। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री के सेवा संकल्प अभियान के तहत विभिन्न संरचनाओं, स्कूलों और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों के जीर्णोद्धार के साथ-साथ छठ घाटों पर मिलने वाली सुविधाओं को भी बेहतर बनाया जा रहा है।
जिलाधिकारी ने दोहराया कि नगर निगम और जिला प्रशासन का मुख्य लक्ष्य जिले के सभी छठ घाटों पर आने वाले लाखों छठव्रतियों को एक स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित और सुव्यवस्थित माहौल प्रदान करना है। इसके लिए नगर निगम के कर्मचारी लगातार घाटों की सफाई, समतलीकरण, कीचड़ हटाने और नदी के जल की स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करने में लगे हुए हैं।

The DM directed officials to arrange adequate lighting for both evening and morning Arghya, emphasizing that all necessary tasks should be completed on time to avoid last-minute disorganization. Speaking to the media, DM Anshul Kumar highlighted Chhath as Bihar's biggest festival and extended advance wishes for Diwali and Chhath. He assured that the entire administration is striving to make this year's Chhath a pleasant and memorable experience for everyone. He also mentioned that under the Chief Minister's Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, various structures, schools, and Anganwadi centers are being renovated, and facilities at Chhath Ghats are also being improved.
Kumar reiterated that the municipal corporation and district administration are committed to providing a clean, safe, and well-organized environment for millions of devotees visiting Chhath Ghats in the district. Municipal employees are continuously engaged in cleaning, leveling, removing mud, and ensuring the purity of the river water.
