पूर्णिया, हिन्दुस्तान संवाददाता। दुर्गा पूजा के अवकाश के बाद गुरुवार से पूर्णिया विश्वविद्यालय और इसके अधीनस्थ सभी कॉलेज खुल गए हैं। अवकाश समाप्त होते ही स्नातक के विभिन्न सेमेस्टर की परीक्षाओं के आयोजन की कवायद भी शुरू हो जाएगी। साथ ही, नए सत्र में पीजी में नामांकन के लिए विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा ऑनलाइन आवेदन की तिथि भी निर्धारित की जाएगी।
वर्तमान में, पूर्णिया विश्वविद्यालय में बीए, बीएससी और बीकॉम सिक्स सेमेस्टर का परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित नहीं होने के कारण पीजी के नए सत्र में नामांकन की प्रक्रिया अधर में लटकी हुई है। स्नातक सिक्स सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा को लगभग दो महीने हो चुके हैं, लेकिन अब तक परिणाम जारी न होने से हजारों छात्रों का भविष्य दांव पर लगा है। हालांकि, बीए, बीएससी और बीकॉम ऑनर्स ईयरली स्पेशल पार्ट थर्ड की परीक्षा का परिणाम तीन महीने बाद जारी कर दिया गया है और टीआर कॉलेजों को भेजे जा रहे हैं। यह विशेष परीक्षा सत्र को नियमित करने और प्रमोटेड व अनुत्तीर्ण छात्रों को मुख्यधारा में लाने के लिए आयोजित की गई थी।
स्नातक स्तर के सभी लंबित परिणाम घोषित होने तक पीजी नामांकन की मेरिट लिस्ट और आवेदन की आगामी प्रक्रिया शुरू नहीं की जा सकती है। परिणाम में देरी के कारण छात्र न तो अपने ही विश्वविद्यालय में पीजी में नामांकन ले पा रहे हैं और न ही अन्य उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों या प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं के लिए आवेदन कर पा रहे हैं।
पूर्णिया विश्वविद्यालय के डीएसडब्ल्यू प्रो अरविंद कुमार वर्मा ने बताया कि स्पेशल परीक्षा स्नातक पार्ट थर्ड का रिजल्ट जारी कर दिया गया है और टीआर संबंधित कॉलेजों को भेजे जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि स्नातक सिक्स सेमेस्टर का परीक्षा परिणाम जल्द ही घोषित किया जाएगा। यूजी सिक्स सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा का रिजल्ट जारी करने को लेकर परीक्षा विभाग में टेबुलेशन का कार्य युद्ध स्तर पर चल रहा है। टेबुलेशन का कार्य पूर्ण होते ही दुर्गा पूजा के अवकाश के उपरांत परिणाम जारी कर दिया जाएगा। इसके बाद, नए सत्र में पीजी के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन की प्रक्रिया शुरू की जाएगी। 20 विषयों के करीब 2200 सीटों पर नामांकन के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन की तिथि 22 अक्टूबर को निर्धारित की जाएगी। विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन इस दिशा में संजीदा है।

Currently, the PG admission process for the new session is in limbo due to the non-declaration of BA, BSc, and BCom Sixth Semester results at Purnea University. Although the Sixth Semester examinations were completed nearly two months ago, the delay in releasing results has jeopardized the future of thousands of students. However, the results for the BA, BSc, and BCom Honours Yearly Special Part Third examinations have been declared after three months, and mark sheets (TRs) are being sent to colleges. This special examination was conducted to regularize the session and bring promoted or failed students into the mainstream.
The merit list and subsequent application process for PG admissions cannot begin until all pending undergraduate results are announced. The significant delay in results is preventing students from enrolling in PG courses at their own university or applying to other higher education institutions or competitive examinations.
Professor Arvind Kumar Verma, DSW of Purnea University, stated that the results for the Special Part Third undergraduate examination have been released, and TRs are being dispatched to colleges. He assured that the results for the undergraduate Sixth Semester would be declared soon. Tabulation work for the UG Sixth Semester examination is ongoing at a war footing in the examination department. Once completed, the results will be released after the Durga Puja holidays. Subsequently, the online application process for PG admissions for the new session will commence. The online application dates for approximately 2200 seats across 20 subjects will be determined on October 22. The university administration is committed to addressing this issue.
