Purnea University has released the revised examination schedule for the undergraduate BA, BSc, and BCom CBCS Sixth Semester (session 2023-27) June 2026 exams. According to the notification issued by the university's examination department on September 14, the sixth-semester exams will commence on September 19 and conclude on September 24.

The examinations will be conducted in two shifts daily. The first shift will be from 10 AM to 1 PM, and the second shift from 2 PM to 5 PM. The examination department has set different dates for subject-wise papers.

In the first shift, MJC-X will be held on September 19, MJC-XI on September 21, MJC-XII on September 22, MIC-VII on September 23, and MIC-VIII on September 24. This shift will include students from various subjects across Science, Commerce, and Arts faculties, such as Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Commerce, Geology, Statistics, Home Science, AIH, LSW, Economics, Rural Economics, Hindi, English, Sociology, and Urdu.

In the second shift, from 2 PM to 5 PM, examinations for MJC-X, MJC-XI, MJC-XII, MIC-VII, and MIC-VIII will be conducted. This shift covers subjects like Psychology, Geography, History, Music, Political Science, Philosophy, Anthropology, Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, Maithili, Bengali, and Gandhian Thought.

Dr. Zameerul Alam, the University's Examination Controller, stated that copies of the revised schedule have been sent to the principals and in-charge principals of all constituent and affiliated colleges. Candidates are advised to carefully check their exam dates, shifts, and subject papers and arrive at the examination center before the scheduled time.

Clear instructions have also been provided regarding practical examinations. Papers such as Chemistry's MIC-VII, Music's MJC-XII, Music's MIC-VIII, and Geography's MIC-VIII are practical. Their practical exams will be held after the completion of the respective theoretical exams, with dates and other details to be announced separately by the university.
