Purnea University administration has intensified its efforts to expedite the release of examination results for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. On Friday, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vivekanand Singh conducted a surprise inspection of the university's examination department. During the inspection, he took detailed information about the ongoing tabulation work and provided necessary instructions to the tabulators and officials involved in the examination department.

The Vice-Chancellor reviewed the progress of the tabulation work, inquiring about the status of pending examination results for various courses from the concerned staff. He emphasized the importance of completing the tabulation work on time and accelerating the process of releasing the examination results. The ongoing activities in the examination department were closely monitored during the inspection. Examination Controller Prof. Amarkant Singh stated that the Vice-Chancellor conducted the inspection to streamline the process of releasing UG and PG results and issued several other important directives.

Currently, releasing the pending examination results for UG, PG, and other courses remains a significant challenge for the Purnea University administration. Results for PG Fourth Semester June 2026 (Session 2024-26), UG Fifth Semester December 2025 (Session 2024-28), and UG First Semester December 2025 (Session 2025-29) are still pending. Additionally, results for PhD 2023 Course Work, BA, BSc, and BCom Special Part-Two & Part-Three 2026, and other courses are also awaiting release. A large number of students are awaiting these results, putting pressure on the university administration to issue them as soon as possible.
