A grand fair is being organized this year at the Krishna Temple complex in Dakshini Tola, Dhamdaha, Purnia, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The organizing committee has finalized the preparations for the fair. In addition to the worship on Krishna Janmashtami, cultural programs will be held on the nights of September 5th and 6th.

The fair will feature various entertainment options for children, including swings. Dozens of sweet shops and general merchandise stalls will also be set up, providing visitors with shopping and dining facilities. To ensure convenience for devotees, separate barricades have been arranged for male and female worshippers within the temple premises, allowing them to offer prayers in separate queues.

Roshan Hajari, president of the fair organizing committee, stated that on September 4th, formal worship will be conducted at the Krishna Temple complex on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. Special priority has been given to women's safety, with a sufficient number of volunteers deployed at the fair to manage crowds and ensure security. To prevent traffic congestion and parking issues, vehicle parking arrangements are being made away from the fairground. The committee members have also informed the administration about the puja and cultural programs.
