Purnia East police have arrested a liquor smuggler, making a significant move against the illegal alcohol trade in prohibition-hit Bihar. Acting on a tip-off, Mufassil police conducted a raid and apprehended the accused with a consignment of illicit liquor. A substantial quantity of illegal alcohol was recovered from the arrested smuggler, who was reportedly planning to distribute it in the area.
