A daylight mobile snatching incident has created a stir on the Maranga Bypass in Purnia district. According to reports, two unidentified youths snatched a mobile phone from a pedestrian on Monday and fled the scene. The incident occurred near the Maranga Bypass when the victim was walking on the roadside, talking on their mobile phone.

Eyewitnesses stated that two youths on a motorcycle swiftly approached the pedestrian, snatched the phone from their hand, and disappeared in a flash. The victim immediately raised an alarm, and onlookers attempted to chase the culprits, but they managed to escape amidst the crowd. The victim has since filed a complaint at the local police station.

Police sources confirm that an investigation has been launched, and authorities are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the perpetrators.
