Purnia district is set to host the written examination for Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) on July 12. The district administration is on high alert, implementing extensive preparations to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exam. A total of 4,968 candidates will appear for the examination across eight designated centers in the district. Each center will be under strict surveillance with CCTV cameras to prevent any irregularities.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will run from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Robust security measures have been put in place at all examination centers, and Section 144 will be enforced. This prohibits the gathering of five or more people within a 200-meter radius of the centers, as well as the use of loudspeakers and carrying of weapons.

The district administration has instructed all concerned officials to maintain complete transparency and impartiality during the examination. Magistrates and police officers deployed at the centers will ensure that candidates do not enter with any electronic gadgets, mobile phones, or other objectionable materials. Thorough checks of the centers will be conducted before and after the examination.

A control room has also been established for the successful execution of this examination, which will remain active 24 hours a day to address any emergencies or complaints. The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police of Purnia have jointly reviewed all preparations and provided necessary directives to the officials. Their primary objective is to ensure that the examination is conducted in a peaceful and impartial environment, providing deserving candidates with their rightful opportunity.
