Sasaram: A delegation of students and youth, touring Bihar under the joint aegis of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) and All India Students Federation (AISF), arrived in Kargahar on Monday to galvanize support for the upcoming Raj Bhavan March scheduled for September 28. Leaders and workers of the organizations warmly welcomed the delegation.

National and Bihar state leaders, arriving in Kargahar from Patna, were received near Sahuar village, beyond Kargahar Bazar, under the leadership of Mahendra Prasad Gupta, former candidate for the Kargahar Assembly constituency supported by the Mahagathbandhan of the Communist Party of India. Among those present were Roshan Sinha, National President of AIYF; Shambhu Deva, Bihar State President of AIYF; Sudhir Kumar, Bihar State President of AISF; and Gayasuddin, Bihar State Secretary of AISF.

A street corner meeting (Nukkad Sabha) was subsequently organized in Kargahar Bazar. Addressing students, youth, and the general public, leaders spoke on issues such as employment, education, youth rights, inflation, and other public concerns. They appealed for large-scale participation in the Raj Bhavan March in Patna on September 28, reiterating their commitment to intensify the struggle for issues affecting students, youth, and the general populace.

The Nukkad Sabha was presided over by Rohtas District President Harishankar Singh and conducted by Mahendra Prasad Gupta. Hundreds of workers from various organizations, including the Youth Union, Student Union, Kisan Sabha, and Khet Mazdoor Union, were present. Several leaders and workers, including Jaganarayan Prasad Gupta, Feku Seth, Ramchandra Ram, and Krishna Gupta, also participated.
