Rajauli block in Nawada district has set a target to create 6,000 new ration cards under the Food Security Scheme. This information was provided by Block Supply Officer (BSO) Shambhu Chaudhary. He stated that camps will be organized in all 22 panchayats of the block to achieve this target. Applications will be received from eligible individuals through these camps, and new ration cards will be issued after verification.

BSO Shambhu Chaudhary explained that new ration cards will be issued to families who meet the eligibility criteria under the National Food Security Act but do not yet possess a ration card. He emphasized that it is the government's priority that no eligible family is deprived of the benefits of the food security scheme. Applicants will need to bring necessary documents such as Aadhaar card, bank account details, proof of residence, income certificate, and details of all family members to submit their applications at these camps.

He appealed to all Mukhiyas, ward members, and public representatives of the block to cooperate in this campaign and help eligible families in their respective areas reach the camps. He stressed that it is everyone's responsibility to ensure that genuinely entitled people receive the benefits of the scheme. The dates and locations of the camps will be announced soon to enable maximum participation. This initiative will help increase food security coverage in Rajauli block and provide essential grains at affordable rates to needy families.
