In a significant development in a daughter-in-law's murder case in Rajauli, Nawada district, the police have arrested the victim's father-in-law. This arrest comes after the victim's husband was already jailed in connection with the same case, and her mother-in-law and sister-in-law had previously surrendered to the court. According to police sources, the arrested individual is the victim's father-in-law, a resident of Bhorambag in the Rajauli police station area. The process to send the arrested accused to judicial custody is underway.

Police investigations began after a woman's suspicious death in the Rajauli police station area was registered as a murder. The victim's family had accused her in-laws of dowry harassment leading to her murder. Several individuals, including her husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, were named as accused in the First Information Report (FIR).

During the initial phase of the investigation, the police arrested the victim's husband and sent him to jail. Subsequently, due to the gravity of the case and increasing police pressure, the victim's mother-in-law and sister-in-law surrendered in court.
