In an incident reported from Laxmi Bigha village under Rajauli police station, a woman was attacked on Friday due to a long-standing land dispute. Gayatri Devi (husband: Umesh Rajvanshi), who was returning from the market, was allegedly ambushed and assaulted by a man and a woman. The attackers reportedly beat her severely with kicks and punches, leaving her seriously injured.

Eyewitnesses stated that the sudden assault caused the woman to collapse unconscious. The incident created a stir at the scene. Villagers promptly informed the Rajauli police station. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot and admitted the injured woman to the hospital for treatment. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
