In a daylight robbery on Tuesday evening, armed criminals looted a Customer Service Point (CSP) operator of approximately six lakh rupees, a laptop, and a mobile phone on Bhaval Road within the Ramnagar police station area of West Champaran. The incident occurred on a deserted stretch of road between Karwainia Tola and Imilia Tola, spreading fear in the locality.

According to reports, Nirbhay Kumar Singh, a resident of Bhaval village, operates an SBI CSP in Aryanager. On Tuesday, after withdrawing cash from the State Bank branch in Gola Bazaar, he was returning to his village on his motorcycle with the remaining CSP funds, a laptop, and other belongings. During his journey, three armed criminals on a motorcycle overtook and stopped him.

As per the victim, Nirbhay Kumar Singh, the assailants verbally abused him and first snatched his motorcycle keys. Subsequently, they brandished a pistol and robbed him of a bag full of cash, his laptop, and mobile phone. After committing the crime, the three culprits fled towards Bhaval village. The criminals had covered their faces with cloth, and their motorcycle lacked a number plate.

Following the incident, Nirbhay Kumar Singh, with the help of locals, informed the police via Dial 112. A police team promptly arrived at the scene. The station in-charge, Pankaj Kumar, inspected the crime scene and interrogated the victim. The police are currently examining potential escape routes and CCTV footage in the vicinity to identify the perpetrators. The station in-charge stated that the matter is being investigated seriously, and efforts will be made to arrest the accused soon.
