On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, a one-day football match was organized at the New Stadium in Adhaura, a remote hilly area of Kaimur district. Dr. Tulsi Prasad Singh stated that the match was played between Rehal Football Club Rehal (Rohtas) and Adhaura (Kaimur). Adhaura Police Station in-charge Atvendra Kumar Singh, former Mukhiya Gauri Shankar Singh, Dilip Kumar Patel (District Athletics Convenor), and SI Virendra Oraon inaugurated the game.

In the first half, Adhaura team's player Rajneesh Paswan scored a goal, giving his team the lead. In the 55th minute of the second half, Rehal's player Amit Soren scored a magnificent goal, leveling the score at 1-1. After the tie, the match went into a tie-breaker, and with the scores still even, the Rehal Sasaram team emerged victorious 1-0 in a sudden death shootout.

Imtiaz Ahmed and Shaukat Ali Gaddi jointly compered the event. Shivdhar Yadav served as the main referee, supported by assistant referees Arshad Ayub, Imtiaz, and Ashraf Ali. The Adhaura Police Station in-charge emphasized that such sporting events foster discipline, leadership skills, team spirit, and healthy competition among youth. Organizer Love Yadav mentioned that the objective of the Nav Yuvak Sangh Committee Adhaura is to encourage youth towards sports and provide a platform for hidden talents in rural areas. Many dignitaries, including Shravan Yadav, Hafiz Azharuddin, and Nagendra Singh, along with police administration officials, were present on the occasion.
