A private school bus suddenly caught fire on Saturday afternoon in Roda village, Nokha. Fortunately, no schoolchildren were present in the bus, averting a major accident. This marks the second fire incident in Nokha within 24 hours. According to reports, the bus, which was parked on the roadside, quickly turned into a ball of fire. A plume of smoke was visible from a distance, causing panic at the scene.

Roda's Sarpanch, Rishiraj Singh, immediately informed the fire department. Fire tenders arrived at the spot and, with the help of villagers, began extinguishing the blaze. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit.

Earlier, on Friday afternoon, a fire broke out at the residence of Shri Niwas Bagri in Marothi Chowk due to a cylinder leak. In that incident, goods worth over ₹10 lakh were destroyed, and a woman named Kanchan Devi sustained minor burn injuries. These two incidents have raised concerns among locals, highlighting the need for increased attention to fire safety measures.
