Power supply will be interrupted in Runnisaidpur block of Sitamarhi district on July 14. This information was provided by the Assistant Electrical Engineer of Runnisaidpur. He stated that electricity supply from all feeders originating from the Runnisaidpur power sub-station will be suspended for a total of two hours, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

According to electricity department officials, the primary reason for this interruption is essential maintenance work. This maintenance is being carried out to ensure uninterrupted power supply, especially in view of the monsoon season. During this period, inspections of electrical wires, replacement of dilapidated wires, tightening of loose wires, and other necessary repair works will be undertaken.

The Assistant Electrical Engineer has appealed to all consumers in the area for their cooperation during this period. He emphasized that the maintenance work is crucial for providing better and safer electricity supply to consumers and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused. Consumers are advised to complete their essential tasks beforehand and switch off electrical appliances during this time to prevent any accidents.
