A vigilance inquiry has been initiated against three teachers in the Rupouli block of Purnia district. The Education Department has instructed the provision of detailed information regarding these three teachers to the Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Patna. This action is part of an ongoing investigation by the vigilance department, which has requested service details and other relevant documents from the Education Department.

Of the three teachers under investigation, two are employed in primary schools, and one is associated with a middle school. The teachers are Ramnandan Sah from Primary School, Parmanandpur; Manoj Kumar from Primary School, Belgachhi; and Naval Kishore Sah from Middle School, Laxmipur, Baisa. The vigilance department launched the probe based on complaints, suspecting irregularities in their appointment process or service tenure.

The District Program Officer (Establishment) of the Education Department has issued a letter to the Block Education Officer of Rupouli, directing them to immediately provide all necessary information related to these three teachers to the Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Patna. This includes appointment letters, educational certificates, service books, and salary payment records. The department has emphasized the urgency of sending all relevant documents promptly to facilitate the vigilance investigation.

This development is considered a significant step towards enhancing transparency and curbing irregularities within the education sector. The vigilance probe aims to ascertain whether any discrepancies occurred during the appointment or service period of these teachers. If irregularities are found, strict action could be taken against the concerned individuals.
