The Sakra block in Muzaffarpur district welcomed its new Block Development Officer (BDO) on Wednesday. Anil Kumar officially took charge of the office, marking a new chapter for the block's administrative functions. Upon assuming his role, Kumar emphasized his primary objective: to accelerate ongoing development projects and ensure the effective implementation of government welfare schemes at the grassroots level. He stated that special attention would be given to the execution of schemes in all panchayats of the block, aiming to benefit the common populace.

Kumar also conducted an inspection of various departments within the block office and interacted with the staff. He instructed all employees to carry out their duties with honesty and dedication, highlighting that transparency and accountability would be integral to his work ethic. He also reiterated a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. The new BDO expressed optimism about the potential for improvement in education, health, agriculture, and rural development within Sakra block, pledging to work collaboratively with local public representatives and citizens to achieve these goals. He particularly stressed the importance of working with Panchayati Raj institutions to foster development at the ground level. Kumar encouraged the public to approach him with their concerns and suggestions, assuring them of his full support.
