Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with immense joy and devotion in several schools across Sakra block, Muzaffarpur, on Thursday. Cultural and colorful programs were organized in the schools on this occasion, aiming to introduce children to Indian culture and Sanatan traditions.

The Janmashtami celebration at a school near Siho Railway Station commenced with the lighting of lamps. Following this, students presented plays based on the life and divine acts of Lord Shri Krishna, enchanting child dances, and various other cultural performances. The captivating presentations by the children charmed everyone present.

The highlight of the ceremony was the 'Matki Phod' (pot-breaking) event. Children enthusiastically and spiritedly broke the earthen pots, bringing to life the childhood antics of Lord Shri Krishna. The school premises buzzed with a festive atmosphere, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the activities.

School Director Rahul Kumar stated that all major festivals are celebrated annually in the school in a traditional and cultural manner. The primary objective is to make children aware of the importance of their culture, traditions, and festivals. He added that this year, the Matki Phod program was made particularly attractive, with children participating enthusiastically. The teachers and staff of the school played a significant role in making the event a success. Many teachers and school staff, including Randhir Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Priyanka Kumari, Saloni, Anjali, Aditya, Kartik, Bobby, Preeti, Neha, Neetu, Ruchi, Nisha, Samiksha, Riya, and Hina, were present on the occasion.
