A two-day Maa Bishhara Mela will be organized on August 17 and 18 at Silet Bhagwati Sthan in Saur Bazar block of Saharsa district. A meeting of the Mela Committee was held to discuss the preparations for the fair and facilities for devotees, presided over by Lalan Yadav. Arrangements were discussed in detail in accordance with administrative guidelines.

The Mela Committee has submitted a written application to the district administration and Saur Bazar police station, requesting adequate administrative and security arrangements during the fair. Barricading will be put in place to prevent traffic jams from the main road to the temple. Separate barricades will be arranged for the convenience and safety of women, with entry restricted for men.

Construction of mandaps and pandals for devotional and cultural programs is also progressing rapidly. Police officers and personnel, along with a sufficient number of volunteers, will be deployed at the fair to manage the crowd of devotees and ensure smooth traffic flow. Committee members have been assigned responsibilities for various essential facilities and arrangements. Preparations for the fair are now in their final stages. Several committee members, including Rakesh Kumar Bunty, Munna Mandal, Arvind Mandal, and Ajay Sharma, were present at the meeting.
