Masaurhi, Patna: A tree plantation program was organized at the Talav Ghat complex of the historic Shri Vishnu Surya Mandir Manichak Dham in Masaurhi with the aim of promoting environmental protection. Led by Masaurhi Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) Dhanraj Kumar, the event saw administrative officials, temple committee members, teachers, and local villagers planting various types of saplings.

On this occasion, SDM Dhanraj Kumar stated that environmental protection is not solely the responsibility of the government or administration, but requires the participation of every individual in society. He instructed all Block Development Officers (BDOs) to conduct plantation drives in their respective areas and encourage the public to plant more trees. The SDM emphasized that merely planting a sapling is not enough; its regular care is equally important. He added that if every individual plants a tree and takes responsibility for it, a positive change in the region's environment will be clearly visible in the coming years.

During the plantation drive, the SDM praised the temple committee upon observing the greenery and trees within the Manichak Dham premises. He thanked the temple committee members for the regular care and timely watering of the plants. Local residents noted that increased greenery at Manichak Dham, which holds religious and historical significance, will provide a better and cleaner environment for devotees. Additionally, it will raise awareness about environmental protection among the surrounding communities.

The event was attended by notable personalities including Masaurhi Sub-Divisional Police Officer-1 Raghav Dayal, Masaurhi Circle Officer Rishikesh Kumar, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, teachers Krishna Sharma, Ranjit Patel, and Lal Mohan Singh. Members of the Shri Vishnu Surya Mandir Committee, including President Sunil Kumar, Secretary Naval Bharti, Treasurer Ramdev Chaudhary, Rajni Kumar, and Lal Waba, along with a large number of villagers from Masaurhi and Manichak, were also present.
