मुजफ्फरपुर जिले के पारू प्रखंड अंतर्गत आनंदपुर खरौनी पंचायत में एसएच-74 (स्टेट हाईवे-74) पर भारी जलजमाव से ग्रामीणों में आक्रोश है। सड़क पर बारिश का पानी जमा होने के कारण लोगों के घरों और दुकानों में पानी घुस रहा है, जिससे जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि जल निकासी की उचित व्यवस्था न होने के कारण हर साल बरसात के मौसम में उन्हें इस समस्या का सामना करना पड़ता है।
स्थानीय निवासियों ने बताया कि सड़क किनारे नालियों का निर्माण ठीक से नहीं किया गया है और जो नालियां बनी भी हैं, वे गाद और कचरे से पटी पड़ी हैं। इसके परिणामस्वरूप, हल्की बारिश में भी सड़क तालाब में बदल जाती है और पानी आसपास के घरों में घुसने लगता है। लोगों को अपने दैनिक कार्यों में भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। बच्चों को स्कूल जाने में दिक्कत हो रही है और राहगीरों को भी गंदे पानी से होकर गुजरना पड़ रहा है, जिससे बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ गया है।
इस समस्या को लेकर आनंदपुर खरौनी पंचायत के ग्रामीणों ने एकजुट होकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने प्रशासन से जल्द से जल्द इस समस्या का समाधान करने और जल निकासी की स्थायी व्यवस्था करने की मांग की है। ग्रामीणों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि उनकी मांगों पर शीघ्र ध्यान नहीं दिया गया, तो वे बड़े पैमाने पर आंदोलन करेंगे। उनका आरोप है कि कई बार शिकायत करने के बावजूद स्थानीय प्रशासन और जनप्रतिनिधियों द्वारा इस दिशा में कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाया गया है। ग्रामीणों ने जिला प्रशासन से हस्तक्षेप कर इस गंभीर समस्या से निजात दिलाने की गुहार लगाई है।

They warned of larger demonstrations if their demands are not addressed promptly, alleging that despite repeated complaints, local authorities and elected representatives have failed to take concrete steps. Residents have appealed to the district administration to intervene and alleviate their suffering.
