सहरसा जिले के सिमरी बख्तियारपुर में दीपावली और धनतेरस पर्व को शांतिपूर्ण और सुरक्षित माहौल में संपन्न कराने के लिए बख्तियारपुर पुलिस ने सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी है। त्योहारों के दौरान बाजारों में बढ़ने वाली भीड़ और स्वर्ण आभूषण की दुकानों में ग्राहकों की आवाजाही को देखते हुए पुलिस ने निगरानी तेज कर दी है।
इसी क्रम में थानाध्यक्ष जयशंकर कुमार ने अपनी पुलिस टीम के साथ नगर परिषद क्षेत्र की विभिन्न स्वर्ण आभूषण दुकानों का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने दुकानों की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया और दुकानदारों को विशेष सतर्कता बरतने के निर्देश दिए। थानाध्यक्ष ने दुकानदारों से सीसीटीवी कैमरे 24 घंटे चालू रखने को कहा। साथ ही, कैमरों का एंगल इस तरह से रखने का निर्देश दिया, जिससे दुकान के अंदर के साथ-साथ सामने सड़क की गतिविधियां भी रिकॉर्ड हो सकें।
उन्होंने दुकान खोलने और बंद करने के दौरान विशेष सावधानी बरतने, अधिक नकदी और कीमती आभूषणों की सुरक्षा के लिए आवश्यक इंतजाम करने तथा संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों पर नजर रखने की सलाह दी। थानाध्यक्ष ने यह भी कहा कि किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की जानकारी तत्काल पुलिस को दी जाए। त्योहार के मद्देनजर नगर परिषद क्षेत्र के प्रमुख बाजारों के साथ-साथ ग्रामीण इलाकों में भी पुलिस गश्ती बढ़ा दी गई है। पुलिस आम लोगों और व्यवसायियों की सुरक्षा को लेकर लगातार क्षेत्र में भ्रमण कर रही है। थानाध्यक्ष ने लोगों से पुलिस प्रशासन का सहयोग करने और दीपावली व धनतेरस का त्योहार सतर्कता के साथ मनाने की अपील की है।

Station House Officer (SHO) Jaishankar Kumar, along with his team, inspected various gold jewelry shops within the Nagar Parishad area. During the inspection, he reviewed the security arrangements and instructed shopkeepers to exercise extra caution. The SHO emphasized keeping CCTV cameras operational 24 hours a day and positioning them to record activities inside the shop as well as on the street outside.
Shopkeepers were advised to take special precautions during opening and closing hours, make necessary arrangements for the security of cash and valuable jewelry, and keep an eye on suspicious individuals. Kumar urged immediate reporting of any suspicious activities to the police. Patrols have been increased in major markets of the Nagar Parishad area and rural localities. The police are continuously monitoring the region to ensure the safety of citizens and business owners, appealing for public cooperation to celebrate the festivals vigilantly.
