Singrahi village in Araria district is currently facing severe disruption due to widespread waterlogging. Main roads and alleys in the village are submerged under knee-deep water, making daily commute extremely difficult for residents. Villagers report that even light rainfall transforms the village roads into virtual ponds. The absence of a proper drainage system leads to prolonged water accumulation. This waterlogging not only impedes movement but also escalates the risk of diseases. Stagnant dirty water has led to a surge in mosquito breeding, raising fears of malaria and dengue outbreaks.

Local residents have repeatedly appealed to the administration and elected representatives for a solution, but no concrete action has been taken yet. Villagers emphasize the urgent need for constructing new drains and cleaning existing ones.
