Power supply has been restored in the Siradhi feeder after a prolonged outage of approximately 15 hours. The disruption was caused by a technical fault following heavy rainfall, leading to significant inconvenience for consumers.

According to reports, the power went out suddenly in the Siradhi feeder after heavy rain late on Friday night. The technical team promptly began efforts to identify the fault, but adverse weather conditions and complex technical issues prolonged the repair work. For about 15 hours, residents and businesses faced difficulties due to the lack of electricity. Fans, coolers, and air conditioners in homes remained non-functional, exacerbating discomfort in the humid weather. Small shopkeepers and businesses also suffered losses as their daily operations were affected.

Officials from the electricity department stated that such technical issues often arise during the rainy season, especially when older wires and equipment are under strain. They assured that the team worked diligently, and after continuous efforts, supply was normalized by Saturday afternoon. The department has appealed to consumers for their patience and cooperation.
