A tragic road accident occurred on Wednesday evening near Bhagwanpur Chowk on NH-77 within the Bathnaha police station area of Sitamarhi district. A head-on collision between a motorcycle and a three-wheeler resulted in the death of 50-year-old Mishrilal Rai, a resident of Nepal, while Kishori Sah sustained serious injuries. Both individuals are reportedly from Khaladi village in Nepal.

According to information, the deceased Mishrilal Rai was the son of Mahendra Rai, and the injured Kishori Sah is the son of Natwarlal Sah. The motorcycle involved in the accident bore a Nepali registration number. The collision was so severe that Mishrilal Rai died on the spot. Local residents immediately informed the police, and the Dial 112 team from Bathnaha police station arrived at the scene.

Police promptly transported the injured Kishori Sah to Sitamarhi Sadar Hospital for treatment. The body of Mishrilal Rai has been sent for post-mortem, and efforts are underway to inform his family about the incident. Police stated that initial findings indicate a head-on collision between the bike and the three-wheeler. Further investigation is being conducted to ascertain the exact circumstances of the accident.
