The road leading to the Sonbarsa Raj Block Headquarters in Saharsa district has been in a dilapidated state for years. This concrete road, which connects the E-Block building and the registration office, is plagued by deep potholes and constant waterlogging, making commuting extremely difficult and increasing the risk of accidents.

Numerous large potholes have formed on the western side of the road, which remain filled with water. Due to waterlogging, vehicle drivers are unable to gauge the depth of these potholes, leading to frequent accidents. Local residents report that several people have fallen and sustained injuries on this stretch.

The concrete road connecting the block headquarters from the eastern side directly meets the highway. People also face considerable difficulty while ascending and descending onto this road from the highway. Furthermore, the road has disintegrated in several places, making access to the headquarters challenging from both directions.

Officials, employees, and the general public visit the block headquarters throughout the day, yet the poor condition of this road has gone unnoticed by authorities. Local residents Guru Sharan Paidar, Lalit Yadav, Nagendra Yadav, and Subhash Kumar have appealed to the concerned department and administration for immediate repair of this crucial road.
