A weekly Janata Darbar (public court) was organized on Saturday at the Sursand Anchal office premises in Sitamarhi district to resolve land disputes. The event, led by Circle Officer (CO) Satish Kumar, saw the presence of officials from the police and revenue departments. Sursand Police Station SHO Lal Kishor Gupta and Bhittha Police Station SHO Deepak Patel were also in attendance.

During the Janata Darbar, grievances from residents of remote villages were heard. Officials meticulously examined documents in the presence of both plaintiffs and defendants. Three long-standing land disputes were peacefully resolved on the spot based on mutual consent and legal considerations.

Additionally, two new applications related to land disputes were received. Officials registered these cases and instructed the concerned Halka Karmchari (revenue clerk) and police officers to conduct immediate site inspections and submit reports. These two new cases have been scheduled for hearing in the next Saturday's Janata Darbar. Dozens of villagers from various areas within the Sursand Anchal had arrived at the office with their land-related issues. Officials assured the villagers that all land disputes would be resolved fairly, transparently, and on a priority basis.
