NCC cadets in Sursand, Sitamarhi district, received firefighting training as part of a 10-day camp organized by the Two Bihar Battalion Muzaffarpur at Saryu High School. Fire station officials taught the cadets various methods to prevent fires and protect themselves and the community.

The third day of the camp began with yoga and physical training, followed by breakfast. Subsequently, cadets were informed about different techniques to extinguish fires, particularly those involving cylinders, and a mock drill was conducted to allow them to practice these methods. Officials emphasized the importance of this training, noting that fires in rural areas often lead to significant losses of livestock and crops. Therefore, it is crucial for all cadets to be knowledgeable about fire prevention to assist during such emergencies.

After lunch, cadets were also provided with information on other important topics. ANO Rishu Kumar spoke about leadership, while ANO Ranjit Kumar highlighted the significance of women's empowerment. This comprehensive training aims to prepare the cadets for disaster management and inspire them towards community service.
