A two-day Dandiya festival commenced on Thursday evening at the Badi Durga Mandir in Suryagarha, marking the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Organized under the supervision of Puja Committee President Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Secretary Raj Kapoor Bhai Patel, Chamber of Commerce President Praveen Rathore, and Ward Councilor Amritbhai Patel, the event featured captivating Dandiya dance performances by local young women and girls.

The festival began with a Ganesh Vandana dance, followed by devotional Dandiya performances dedicated to the worship, prayer, and Aarti of the Mother Goddess, filling the atmosphere with spiritual fervor. Additionally, folk dances depicting the glory of Chhath, the great festival of faith, enthralled the devotees present. Many local artists showcased their talent with excellent performances to traditional tunes, captivating the audience.

The event continued until 10 PM, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and devotion within the temple premises, resembling a fair. Suryagarha Station House Officer Rohit Kumar Singh attended the program, encouraging the participating artists. A large number of local citizens enjoyed the cultural presentations. Members of the puja committee, Roshan Kumar, temple priests Anshu Pandey and Madan Kumar, among others, actively contributed to making the event a success.
